World Series of Youth Lacrosse to Broadcast Championship game on ESPN2 and Playoff Games Monumental Sports Network.

Top Boys 13U Teams in the World to be Showcased on July 4th at 5:00 PM ET on ESPN2

Denver, CO – The fifth annual Warrior World Series of Youth Lacrosse presented by The Coca-Cola Company (“WSYL”) is excited to announce that it will play its 2019 Championship Game at the University of Denver’s Peter Barton Stadium and be broadcast live on ESPN2 on July 4th at 5:00 pm ET / 3:00 pm MT. Monumental Sports Network has also partnered with the WSYL to broadcast the quarterfinal and semifinal games played at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

Prior to the WSYL Championship game on July 4 the two top teams will have played 6 games in three days against the top 13U teams from the United States, Canada, Israel, and Iroquois Nation.  These games will be played at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and are open to the public at no charge.

Monumental Sports Network will stream the quarterfinals and semifinals played on July 3 and July 4, respectively. “Monumental has created a great opportunity for family and friends unable to make the trip to be able to watch the game. We are thrilled to develop this partnership,” says Ray Schulmeyer, President of the WSYL.

For the fifth year, the WSYL Championship will air live on ESPN2 for viewers all over the world. In addition to the all of the great on-field competition throughout the week, all players will have attended Opening Ceremonies, the official WSYL Banquet and competed in the WSYL Skills Competition. “This event is about so much more than lacrosse. The World Series of Youth Lacrosse brings together the world’s premier youth lacrosse teams. Teams from the United States were invited to compete in the Championship Series based on their performance in a series of U.S. Regional Qualifiers that took place earlier this Spring. Top international teams from Canada, Israel, and Iroquois Nation were invited directly to the Championship Series to represent the best of the international lacrosse community.
